Whether you're a first time buyer, upsizing to accommodate your new family, investing in a buy to let or just looking for a change, these are some questions to consider before your next move:

What is your main reason for buyer?

What do you really need, and what can you compromise on?

What kind of lifestyle are you looking for?

Do you want family and friends nearby?

Take some time to establish what you want and need, and then let us help with your search.

Our guide will help you understand the process and take you through it from start to finish.

  • Have a look at agents local to where you want to buy, do some research on them, and on the area, and do feel free to pop in for chat to find out what we can do for you.

  • Spend some time with a mortgage broker working out what you can afford to borrow, and what you can afford to repay. Look at all your options.

  • Have a look at the properties your agent suggests, and when you find one you feel meets your needs, feel free to ask for a second viewing, and then, when ready, make your offer. Once an offer has been agreed, then instruct your solicitors and give details to your broker. We can assist with recommending solicitors and brokers.

  • Instruct your survey, via your mortgage company, and then once all paperwork is complete, agree on dates for exchange and completion.

  • When your solicitor advises you the time has come to exchange, arrange buildings and contents insurance to start from the exchange date.

  • Advise any utilities companies.

  • Then complete - and let your friends and family know where to find you!

We can help with all of the above and are always there to provide guidance and advice.
